Safety Features: Blind Spot Monitoring

Last updated 4 years ago

Mazda is known for making vehicles that are sporty, attractive, and efficient. And with the release of a number of new safety technologies, Mazda is also being recognized as making some of the safest vehicles on the road. Blind Spot Monitoring, for example, uses a motion sensor to detect when a vehicle is in your blind spot. If there’s a vehicle detected in your blind spot, the system will warn you by illuminating an icon on the side-mirror that corresponds with the approaching vehicle. If you activate your turn signal in the direction of a vehicle in your blind spot, the system will give you enhanced audible and visible warnings to prevent you from changing lanes.

To find out more about how this extraordinary Mazda safety feature can prevent a collision, visit Brown’s Alexandria Mazda of Alexandria, VA. Call our dealership at (888) 842-2790 today if you have any questions about how Blind Spot Monitoring works on a new Mazda.
